EXTENDED PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Cited in stories, poems and comedies of which the most famous is undoubtedly 'Poverty and Nobility' by Eduardo Scarpetta in which Totò - in the guise of a modern sommelier - praises its characteristics and ends with the famous phrase 'if it isn't Gragnano, desisti' It is a lively red wine - with hints of violet, strawberry, rose and raspberry - which should be served cold and which was traditionally drunk after San Martino, when every must becomes wine. The name OTTOUVE is a tribute to the many native vines that historically contributed and still partially contribute to the production of Gragnano: Piedirosso, Aglianico, Sciascinoso, Suppezza, Castagnara, Olivella, Sauca, Surbegna.
